10 Before 10
A Monthly Walk of Remembrance & Growth
On the 10th of each month, we walk 10,000 steps before 10am to honour lives lost to suicide — and to walk beside those grieving right now.
It’s more than just a walk. It’s a gentle ritual of remembrance, connection, and healing.
Together, we carry forward the memory of those we’ve lost and help the next survivor feel less alone.
How it works?
Each month, you’re invited to take part in a simple but powerful act of remembrance:
Walk 10,000 steps before 10am on the 10th of each month
Dedicate your walk (optional) to someone you’ve lost or are walking beside
Wear flannel if you like — or carry a name in your heart
Share your walk using #10Before10 and tag @TheFlannelProject
Invite others to walk with you — friends, family, co-workers or your community

Why it matters?
Every month, The Flannel Project supports families, friends, and witnesses navigating the devastating loss of a loved one to suicide.
10 Before 10 is one way we bring community together — gently, regularly, and with purpose. It allows us to grieve out loud, grow in connection, and walk forward together.
Want to Honour Someone?
If you'd like to dedicate your walk or honour someone you've lost to suicide, you’re welcome to share their name with us. You can remain anonymous or simply walk in your own quiet way.
